“ Silent Hill 3” (2003) has a traditional linear level progression, albeit with a cut-down version of the second outdoor area from “Silent Hill 2” that the player can briefly explore between two levels. Even so, this game is very mildly more linear than the first one. It’s a tiny area, yet one that is easily missed and it contains a healing item that rewards exploration. The Silent Hill 2: Enhanced Edition (PC) - Update Video #6 details all the improvements and fixes added in the latest update, and you can read more about the ongoing Project itself on its official website. Along with the graphics improvements, the team also added a nifty new screenshot feature, and fixed a few obnoxious visual and audio bugs.
